>all that sugar
Jesus fricking Christ why the hell can’t there just be ONE bar that isn’t a glorified piece of candy.
Is sugar that bad for you? I thought sugar in small quantities is good for energy levels throughout the day
I eat a light lunch and have a snack before a light dinner. I'm on a cut, and my daily calories add up to 1000 to 1200. So it's quite a lot of my calories but it's probably the most protein dense of my calories. I typically don't count my macros, but I want to try eating more protein this year.
Sugar occupies the liver destroying protein synthesis just like alcohol does (except alcohol does it longer and irritates bowels)
Is that all carbs or just sugar?
When it's not sugar, the liver doesn't try to process it all at once.
That's why so many people preach complex carbs. They digest slowly and give you energy longer term.
That's also why you want meat+bread+fat at every meal. Your body can process the meat slowly with the carbs and then the fat helps replenish testosterone used up on the he protein synthesis
So what im hearing is oats + milk + eggs is actually god tier
>Many people may be concerned about the effect of consuming sugar with a protein rich meal. When it comes to protein absorption the evidence doesn't suggest that sugar has any negative or positive effect. The protein digestion and absorption process does not seem to be affected by sugar.Apr 23, 2021
You sure?
They proved this when they did the dessert first test.
Eating dessert first is the only way to guarantee your body processes everything
What might be happening in your study is that the participants we're eating wayyu too much protein to begin with so the loss was made up for later.
If this was the case, those participants would be walking around with lower than normal testosterone due to excessive protein consumption
Go eat a high protein, high sugar meal. Those protein farts you get later are the body rejecting protein because the body is processing other stuff
Added sugar is completely unnecessary. Empty calories that don't contribute to anything. Just a small burst of energy that wears off within an hour and causes you to crash.
It's fine in moderation, but 28g in a protein bar is not healthy.
If you're actually working out, then that sugar is getting burned. These aren't snacks for cutting, these are snacks for pre or post workout.
Quest has bars that don't have seed oils and use sugar alcohol
how much sugar is too much in one day?
goyslop
These aren't like good or anything as far as a regular protien source but if you want to have a candy bar once in a while as long as it fits in your calories you're good, snacks really should be like 100-200 calories at most though
They're fine. A bit expensive vs making you're own but convenience has a price. if I'm having some takeout sandwich lunch and I see one I'll snag it.
There's more sugar than protein. It's a candy bar.
Could be good if your burning several hundred+ calories in a workout / running marathons and are looking for an energy bomb.
>43g carbs
>advertise it as protein
Kek, goyim always fall for the same trick.
Only 16% of the DV though
The sugar negates every bit of protein in there
You'd be better off scooping natty peanut butter
This is what I get.
Based, I eat them between classes so I'm not starving. They're kind of expensive but I think they're a great snack that has protein.
Same protein, less sugar, less calories
Does it taste good? What's the catch
Taste great. Premier shakes are really good too. If you drink a whole case of them your computer chair changes colors.
These are kino. They taste too good to be a protein supplement.
I get the multipack from Sams. Fricking love em
Just drink a liter of milk instead you bipoc.
I suggest you buy smaller protein bars, but its ok.
Imo dont go much over 50grams
40-60 is good.
2/3rds of a protein bar isn't protein
Hahaha okay
