Primitive people eat almost nothing but protein and they're fine. >b-but they die early
No they don't. You can literally fly your ass to Africa and see that they're still physically active and hunting well into their 60s despite eating almost nothing but meat and honey. They've never heard of what a vegetable is.
moron alert. That's from high infant mortality because of their hunter-gatherer lifestyle, not from dietary-induced chronic disease. >Like other indigenous tribes, the average Hadza life expectancy at birth is low (32.5 years) [60,61] compared with Poland (78.2 years) [62]. However, this lower average life expectancy does not necessarily mean that the Hadza live very short lives. Rather, low life expectancy is related to high mortality in the first few years of life, rather than a short life in general [49,61]. For example, a Hadza woman who reaches the age of 45 years still has more than 20 years of life expectancy [25].
something something insulin for uptake of protein will cause hypoglycemia (fainting is a symptom ) without additional carbs/fats, conversion is both inefficent and taxing to the kidneys, rabbit starvation blah blah blah blah 65% (in weight, as in GRAMS of macro), is probably an extremely generous upper limit for the highest p% you could sustain assuming you are eating fat for the rest, and why even bother? just follow the conventional wisdom which is about 1g per kg.
learn this shit if you wanna experiment with it or just experiment with it anyway and keep fruit juice nearby when it goes wrong.
i was really curious bc i saw the carnivore ppl argue with keto ppl so it got me womdering. i know the 1gram per pound rule also the body can only process 25grams max every 3 hours. also thank you
high protein diets are such a fricking meme. I remember this used to be the broscience diet like a decade ago. People don’t understand how MPS and MPB works so they think protein is just pure gains when in reality carbohydrates are much more effective for muscle growth assuming adequate protein consumption.
In your body, MPS and MPB are occurring at the same time, all the time. lean tissue is breaking down and being repaired simultaneously. Muscle hypertropy is achieved when the rate of MPS is greater than the rate of MPB over a long period of time, atrophy is the opposite of course.
Carbohydrates do not build muscle directly, but they do have a significant effect on the inhibition of MPB, as in regular carb intake slows down the rate of muscles breaking down. This is why all bodybuilders are all on high carb diets.
This is the biochemistry that ketolards and proteinmaxxers refuse to accept.
I mean you’re right, in a bulk a high carbohydrate diet is needed for maximum muscle development. You can even cut back on protein and probably should to .8 ^cm. But I’m a cut for short term, low carb high protein is superior especially if you’ve trained in this state before. It doesn’t have to be strict keto either, just adjust your macros and slightly lower your CICO.
Current diet is 80% protein, 20% fat. It’s great for cutting and keeping gains short term, but as other anons said, just eat 1g per cm of your height and you’ll be fine.
protein requirements aren’t based on height. its based on the amount of lean tissue and the degree of hypertrophy. someone 5’6” 150 pounds lean, needs much more protein than someone 6’0” 150 pounds at the same body fat %
I’m basing it off of a newbie, not someone who’s been doing this for years. Most people over estimate their lean mass and go by their weight alone. So someone who’s a lardass will over eat protein and wonder why they’re gaining weight. Height is usually the safest indicator to give until you see the client directly.
Unhealthy and very suboptimal for building muscle
At a certain point (a lot below 80% of your macros) protein becomes by far the most useless macronutrient for building muscle
You'll be awake all night, and constipated within 3 days.
This will be the only serious answer you get in this thread.
ok thanks
endless libido, veins, actual muscle growth and size without getting bloat.
ya'll are some weak ass motherfrickers. keto first to get fat adapted, then ride that protein train to girth town.
thank you
This.
More protein = more gains.
Simple as.
Primitive people eat almost nothing but protein and they're fine.
>b-but they die early

>nothing but protein
>eating almost nothing but meat and honey
>meat
>nothing but protein
>honey
>nothing but protein
>yes goy fructose is vital for your survival
Ever heard of vitamins?
Youre moronic look up the hadza diet they eat tubers fruit and green vegetables too
Also their life expectancy is in the 30s

test am i banned ?
I started eating only meat milk and honey (and salt)
right now im feeling great tons of energy, my skin is good I also feel more resilient to temperatures
MEAT MAX MODE
kidney failure
I upped my protein intake and within 48 hours I fainted on the train to work. Fainted like three times in my entire life.
Don't do it.

You will tank your testosterone and piss blood before dying of starvation
Bowel cancer
Rabbit starvation
expensive as shit. protein is easily the highest dietary input.
Your body can absorb 8~10g/h so you'd want to space it out. Don't forget to get cholesterol, vitamines and minerals or you'll feel like shit.
What if my sweat smells sweet but in a good way? It's a very pleasant musky smell.
How the frick do I know what ammonia smells like?
Windex
Piss
You will loose all your wallet gainz
you will get 400% increase in your grocery bill
holy shit, real?
protein poisoning diarrhea reduced gains lower overall energy
>bmi: healthy
>blood pressure:normal
>lifting: actually doing it
Yup, it’s time to troll some keto shizos

Post body what the frick
Gluconeogenesis for energy, limited insulin response and hence limited muscle growth despite training
Eventually, kidney damage from the unprocessed protein
Unhealthy and very suboptimal for building muscle
At a certain point (a lot below 80% of your macros) protein becomes by far the most useless macronutrient for building muscle
death, death and a little sprinkling of death
your poor pooper
have some oatmeal
beans
don't gotta be vegan to get those whole food gains breh
