Diets where greater than 20% of caloric intake habitually comes from protein are known to cause kidney damage in the long term. Other than that I don’t know.
Post the study that shows this, then post the 2 or more studies that corroborate your claim and prove actual causation, not correlation. Otherwise shut the frick up.
Shut up homosexual poster
This better be a troll post. I eat 2600cal a day and 30% of that comes from protein
(Approx 200g)
post diet
It alternates daily but todays meals:
>Toast, protein shake, apple
>chicken salad wrap, banana
>pork salad wrap, protein shake
>protein shake, banana, kiwi fruit, berries
>potatoes, steak
Here’s the macros from today
Unless you're 240lbs lean, that's way too much
Your body can only process 0.8g/lb of LEAN mass.
Anything beyond that lowers your test thus hurting your gains
Smelly farts
You might get absolutely yoked
you dont need more than 0.6 (least) - 0.8 (most), but 1g is a good standpoint to ensure you never go under 0.8, a lot of people overshoot protein and end up undereating fat, which is also very important in your diet (0.3-0.5g/lb bw is sufficient)
I am guilty, I eat 30g of fat on a cut and 200g of protein, and yeah, my dick practically falls off...
>at the club friday night
>pack 1 gram of coke into a bag
>people looking for drugs
>give out free tester bumps
>they like it
>sell them 1g of creatine and protein powder mix for 300aud
>leave club
Ez money cya gays.

cope, seethe, dilate, I don't care just take your meds.

>Although there has not been a full elucidation of the underlying mechanisms by which high protein intake may adversely affect kidney function, particularly in the context of CKD, existing data suggest that glomerular hyperfiltration caused by a high-protein diet may lead to an increase in albuminuria and an initial rise and subsequent decline in GFR

>The quality of dietary protein may also play a role in kidney health. Compared with protein from plant sources, animal protein has been associated with an increased risk of ESKD in several observational studies, including the Singapore Chinese Health Study.

Absolute fricking trash, eat shit and die.
>growing evidence suggests
Can anyone even define what “too much” protein is?
you get to frick b***hes, unlike the low protein basedgays
If I take more than 1 scoop a day I get wicked headaches extremely reliably.
There are a lot, Jacob
All I know is ON Gold Standard Whey is knocking me out of ketosis. It’s literally the only thing I eat. 6-8 scoops and water over the course of the day, along with vitamins and shit. Just got home from the gym and I have no ketones in my piss.
Unless I just burned through them all, idk
Protein powders are insanely processed, a lot of them (especially the vegan ones) contain a fair amounts of heavy metals which will poison you if you are scooping twice a day every day for many years. If you're using a lot of protein powder to hit your marco targets you should try to ensure your protein powder is lab tested and doesn't contain too much of these metals.
They all have heavy metals in them
lie by an idiot
dont buy chinese ones and youre fine
