What is a?

What is a IST breakfast?

I like to start the day with something sweet. Been eating oats every morning, but it makes me super fucking sleepy, and I just read about it and apparently it’s a thing. I can’t keep doing this anymore, I can barely keep my eyes open after oats.

What else can I eat that is IST and a little sweet? Ideally something I can add protein to.

Yep, it contains melatonin. Read about it, plenty of people crash after oats. For me it’s like a sleeping pill. I wake up fully rested, eat my oats and I’m fucking done.

dude I've been eating oatmeal every day for the last 20 years, it doesn't make you any more sleepy than other meal that is high in complex carbs. I'd say you are used to a high sugar diet and you think the blood sugar spikes after eating are normal, but they're not.

      Nope

Eating is supposed to make you tired, it sucks all the blood into the intestines to digest the food. Goyslop counters this with corn syrup o you keep stuffing your face.
