If you get momentum, yes. That being said in most cases it is because you lack balance so fix your form
I see literally no1 Ohp at my gym. Yet everyone on fits Ohp numbers are good and the lift is downplayed for its difficulty. I’d love to see videos of these lifts
1rm i always tend to lean back tp compensate
If you know your 1RM you're a loser simple as. get a life, no one cares how much you can lift

you can dyel, the estimations are usually spot on if you're accustomed to heavy weight

I've never tested 5rm but I did 4 on 72.5kg, and 6 on 67.5kg.
I don't 1 rep max on ohp.

i just started doing ohp. it’s taken me a month to reliably do 95 lbs for 5 reps. soon i have get up to 1 pl8, and after that 2 pl8s. my shoulders will be the size of school buses. never give up progress anon.

Everyone repping 1pl8 and beyond, yet you see disbelief of attaining a 2pl8 bench in less than a year.
Last time I did heavy strict press which was months ago, I did 50kg x 6. I also bench 110kg for 1.
Every single person I see at my gym repping 1pl8 and above in a _strict press_ have big benches to go along with it, 130kg++.
I am convinced people here are doing some combination of a push press, standing incline bench "press" and cheating ROM too probably.
I call it the Paki Press, it's neither a push press or an Olympic press, but a desperate and spastic back breaking way of getting a weight above your head by any means necessary.
Maybe you're just really bad at OHP and these kind of threads attract people who enoy OHP, which means they'll train it more often and be stronger at it than the average teenager on IST,

I'm not sure what your point is, but when I did 110kg bench press I could rep 65 kg on OHP for 5 reps for multiple sets. You are just bad at OHP.

This is true. I saw the OP make the same thread yesterday and he claimed full on retarded stats, something like 245lbsx3 ohp yet unable to bench 110lbs. Physically impossible btw, just goes to show how bad some people are cheating themselves. Also, of course they will not post vids of them doing these lifts, nor will they even post body. Full on retarded larpers.

I posted a video of my OHP and just got called ugly by random fags because I made a scrunched up face on a max effort lift. There's no real benefit to posting lifts on IST. Anyone stronger than you will have nothing to say and anyone weaker than you will just come up with something to insult you to cope.

And it supports what I am saying. My reference is touch and go. Paused 255lbs without leg drive equals a much higher touch and go with leg drive.

I started with just the bar and I ended up getting my 1RM up to 155 with hard work and keeping track of everything so I could adjust my program when needed. Ygmi if you stay determined

155 for a single. I started 1 plate but I’ve had a year or two of kettlebell presses worked up to 70lbs for 5

I can only bench 165 but I barely train bench.
