What's a good routine to minimize fatigue and acquire aesthetics?
Should I focus more on isolation movements and do few sets of many different exercises?

If you're natty, you should do heavy strength to build muscles and cardio to keep lean
If you're on gear, just focus on getting a pump and the drugs will do the rest
This is not how you minimize fatigue moron.
Also training for strenght requires doing squats and deads which are heavy to recover from
if you want to minimize fatigue why do you lift? oh yeah, I will surely make progress doing things which are not challenging, just need to find the magic combination of exercises. moron
You are illiterate
Stimulus / fatigue is a thing, you shameless ignorant
Look around the gym. You'll see a huge difference between those who use the concept to maximize stimulus and those who minimize fatigue. You can be "literate" and completely miss the point.
2000s kids played outside and had near unrestricted internet access too
Boomer parents really didn’t give a damn
millennials saw beheadings on 2006 internet and then grew up to say hekkin big chonkers
over-exposure leading to peter pan/infantile adulthood characteristics I would think
>not liking hecking chonkers
zoomers please leave the room
That's just animal abuse.
yeah millennials are huge homosexuals, who would've guessed
Lmfaoooooo that’s me
zoomers saw the same shit and came up with skibidi toilet
You are correct and I wouldn't trade the time I grew up for anything. It must fricking suck to be a zoomer.
Verification not required.
It sucks but on that front most are doing fine outside of like 15 percent shut ins. The suckiest part is that a lot of zoomers genuinly think the world will end because of climate change in a few decades, and they were taught that in that face of hardship they should just focus on how they feel about it instead of dealing with the problem.
2000s kids found out the hard way that 'child porn' was not porn of kids having sex (with other kids)
No we didn’t, is there something you want to tell the jury anon?
Nothing other than that people that rape children deserve the death penalty.
Buddy of mine did this as a teen (13yo), thought process of "I want to watch porn of people my age, adult women are nasty" and pulled up some intense CP/jailbait on the family computer. Told him the government can track that shit and charge you.
For the next year he was convinced his house was going to get swatted and his dad would go to prison lol
Modern teens are pretty homosexual but remember that Gen Z/Alpha males are far more conservative than Gen Y males were at this age
I get the sense that there's a huge ideological divide between gen z men and women. it'll be interesting to see how it plays out
t. 1997 elder zoomer
its shitshow now. unfunny circus with revolting caricatures from left pitted against tevolting caricatures from right. imagine 2005-2008 you being put in modern times. your reaction? this shit is beyond dystopian. despite not being that bad its worse in incoprehensible way.
This is 100% deliberately instigated by the powers that be. The amount of "women bad" propaganda I get in my social media feed on a daily basis is ridculous, as well as just general doomer shit.
That "ideological divide" could be easily mended by just censoring all feminist and anti-feminist shit.
Accurate take. After deleting social media the only outlet left sparking frustration is the ridiculous prices of everything caused by an inept government causing mass inflation. Culture war shit and anger directed towards evaporates the moment you delete an app off your phone
I pretty much only use yt. But still, all recommendations are either hot takes, drama, political bullshit or video essays. Not to mention it always seems to try to guide you towards the least useful people on all sides. Accidentally clicked on a movie channel who vaguely leans left? Now hasan piker and Vaush show up in your recommendations. Clicked on an excercise vid? Here's the worst of internet fitness culture, PUA shit and of course drama. Clicked on a video about society? Heres blackpill videos about gen z and dating. Clicked on a video about europe? Heres unironic russian propaganda. Hell at one point I regularly had troony and lesbian content recommended for some fricking reason. The only explanation I have is they deliberately want to pigeonhole you into a category to isolate you from the outside world so you become terminally online and keep CONSOOMING or smt.
Create a fresh youtube channel to wipe the shitty recommendations and only sub to channels you really like. Liberally use the "Do not show me this channel" button. My YT now only recommends me machining videos and vintage hydroplane races, I haven't seen a single political video pop up in months.
Thanks
We elder zoomers occupy a weird space. We're not fully millennial or fully zoomer but a strange hybrid. There's millennial stuff I think is absolute cringe but then there's also zoomer things that just go totally over my head. It's as if I'm young and old at the same time. Can't really relate to either group.
t. 1999
I feel it. 1996-1999 is its own generation
Indeed
I don't collect Nintendo games or funko pops but I'm not hitting the skibidi gyat griddy like my zoomer brethren
Either way I prefer associating myself with zoomers
Yeah that's how people who are on the earliest/latest part of a generation feel usually. Core Gen Z is TikTok, Core Gen Y is putting your hair in a manbun and protesting for BLM, we're between the two.
Born too late to truly explore the wild west internet, born too soon to get sucked up by TikTok.
t. 97
I remember using 2000s pokemon forums and youtube
Yeah I don't relate to the appeal of TikTok. I've got a younger cousin born in '05 who is on it constantly and it kinda sucks because she's actually a pretty clever and perceptive person. Always wittier than other kids her age. The conversations we had suffered a massive drop in quality after TikTok came out. I know I've also got vices that make me less than I could be but that app just seems soul destroying. Really hate to see it.
>Born too late to truly explore the wild west internet, born too soon to get sucked up by TikTok.
and that's a good thing
My 1993 gf and her 1992 sister are obsessed with tiktok, as well as many of her age mates.
I think tiktok adults are just low iq
I’m in the same boat being born in ‘98, and my family lineage has all been like this too. My dad was born in 1964, so he’s between the Baby Boomers and Generation X, and my granddad was born in 1943, so he’s from the Silent Generation, which is often passed over for either the Greatest Generation or Baby Boomers.
I think it highlights how stupid the generation naming system is and how much it really hinges on pop culture than what year you were born in.
Same here, although I do remember teachers and such saying we were the first year that was noticably different from all the previous ones, full zoomerification seems to kick in with the tiktok using 2002 kids.
t. 2000
Of course older folks criticize the younger generation pretending they are better than them.
When you start doing this it's when you are officially old.
>Gen Z/Alpha males are far more conservative than Gen Y males were at this age
This could just be because "I don't think we should allow completely unrestricted illegal immigration into our country and then give those same illegal immigrants $1000 a month for free" is now a "far-right" position
>minimize fatigue
do more cardio
>Should I focus more on isolation movements
No, compounds will be more effort in the moment but will overall be less fatiguing
Stick with a small group of large compound exercises that go hard
Look at how lefty Millennials are now in middle age (30s and 40s) and realize that they are far more conservative now than they were as teenagers
>realize that they are far more conservative now than they were as teenagers
Are they though?
>gen z
>alpha males
Gen Z and Gen A still say the same edgy shit
> minimize fatigue
None. If you want results, there is no way to do it without a lot of fatigue.
5/3/1, specifically what wendler advises these days:
>1 main lift a day 5/3/1
>push/pull/single leg + core assistance every lifting day as needed or desired
>conditioning
You can't go wrong.
whoa! I want a pepe like that, tell me how pls.
Yeah, I was volunteering with high schoolers once and they were calling kids homosexuals. They're just as edgy, maybe even more so due to being pessimistic nihilist but their choices of media is more sanitized than ever except for tiktok which explains its popularity and the calls to ban it.
Hit volume legs and power legs 1x a week each and the rest go crazy you can ohp basically every day for hypertrophy vs pr chasing.
Gotta try 5 heavy sets then another 3 to 5 later on for volume on the barbell. And dbs and cables till you're toast off you really can't get enough volume on shoulders and arms/forearms gotta eat another meal if you're really going hard.
as long as you're doing a few sets of curls in your program you should be fine
You're better off focusing on few compound movements, that hit more muscle groups, and do a decent number of sets.
If you're natty, you should be going for strength (you'll gain mass anyway, but it's more sustainable for a natty guy to get bigger as an effect of getting stronger, you'll have less sets, less reps, less frequency).
Follow Prieplin's table, keep the percentages between 85% and 70%, averaging around 80% (actually in the 84-76% range, meaning don't only work at the high or low end, mix that shit up), hit every muscle 2/week, possibly at different percentages, and when you can use a variant of the exercise that works more muscles, or take significantly less out of you (like romanian deads vs deadlifts, but if you do that do actual deads every few weeks, or chin ups instead of wide grip pull ups, close grip bench instead of wide grip bench, and so on).
You'll probably need some isolation anyway, to round things out: superset them all, and/or do myoreps, don't waste time resting. They're just isolations anyway.
Focus on the big compounds brah, the guys who don't bench because "it isn't optimal for chest growth" are always small and dyel, same with the guys who don't overhead press and "spam lateral raises" instead. Same for squats, yes they're hard and it sucks doing them but everyone who doesn't do them universally has skinny legs. As long as your bodyfat percentage is in check you gain aesthetics with strength, if you can rep 2pl8 on bench while being lean it's impossible not to look good too.
Push pull legs is okay and Arnold split is good. Always do cardio too, the guys who can't run for 10 minutes always look like shit. Cardio helps you stay lean too, and as a natty you can only really look impressive lean
You pic exercises that have high stimulus and low fatigue. As a beginner you should still learn compounds and they will still be all you need to grow everything. As an intermediate bodybuilder you should do more isolation exercises and use cables/machines. You don’t have to do many different exercises, it’s about how much you target a muscle and if you get every part of it. You don’t have to do exercise variation for the sake of it.
High stimulus to fatigue = isolations?
Generally, isolations are low stimulus, low fatigue.
That pic fits for early 2010's teens too. They grew up watching the same mlg shit and shit like filthyfrank. Most zoomers fit here.
zoomers are now apparently as old as 27. nothing fricking matters anymore
Yep, the generation labeling is fricking moronic and has been for a long time.
Once upon a time (around 2005-2007) it was generally agreed that "millennials" were the generation born from 2000 onwards (since, you know, they were born in the new millennium) and that the ones born in 1980s + 1990s were just "Gen Y"
Each generation also has progressively less testosterone so unfortunately when it comes to lifting this will become more and more true
roids
SS + GOMAD
You put on pounds like crazy
>Make taking dick in the ass into a personality
>Blame the next generation for the rise of degeneracy
>What's a good routine to minimize fatigue and acquire aesthetics?
Cardio and some pull ups now and then.
Routine almost never matters when it comes to aesthetics unless it's extremely unbalanced or you have severe muscle imbalances. Bench will give you bigger pecs and tris, OHP will give you bigger shoulders, and so on. If you end up looking like shit it's because of insertions and bf%.
500 MG test
I called someone a gay on xbox live a few months ago and i got fricking banned for it
Deserved
Can u shut up
Concession accepted, dyel.
Your best post, sir
I remember there being basically no rules on xbox live chat. I remember telling a black guy that I love collard greens and fried chicken, we all chuckled about it and he poked fun at me as well. Are you even allowed to troll like that anymore?
Full body twice a week for like a year. Really focus on shoulders and traps. They make you look big in a shirt. Eventually you can cut down to once a week even and maintain. Heavy compounds are probably the best if you don't want to talk around with little impigments and joint fatigue. Just don't do gomad or bloatmaxxing and you'll stay aesthetic
Yet millenials are the biggest crybabies around about everything. They had the 08 crisis that sucked but it sucked the hardest for gen x. Zoom zooms now get the enjoyable experience of their degrees being devalued since jobs relatively pay less for people having them. On top of that housing and cost of living went through the roof compared to wages.
