Doing barbell rows for my lats and hammer curls for my biceps hit my delts enough that they are proportionate to the rest even without doing any isolations for them.

if you use dumbells you risk your arm internally or externally rotating ever so slightly and that's the start of serious problems.

Rotator cuff warmups with band. Broomstick rotator warmup. Lots and lots of warmup in general.
Dumbbell lateral raise drop sets starting with a weight light enough to do 14 slow and controlled reps. One drop set every other day.

By the end of the set my delts are on fire and it removes stress on your elbows as well

Low weight high rep. Stop when you feel pain. Give them plenty of recovery time.
