Trapmoggers, how to build traps?
Some swear by heavy AF shrugs, some swear diddlies are enough.
Is there a difference in training "upper" traps to make them pop up more and "lower" traps to make your back look thicker? Or will shrugs and rows improve both as a complete muscle. Or is it more like pec minor/pec major.

Back when I was really fit I could easily rep out 30, lmao. its the easiest exercise for me to train even when overweight. Lmao.

i could do 25 reps at 90kg bw and i have no traps. maybe it's the form but i kind of doubt it. only saw trap development when i did some deadlifts and holding the bar for calf raises but i stopped because i realized i don't like the big trap look

The trapezius, commonly referred to as the traps, are responsible for pulling your shoulders up, as in shrugging, and pulling your shoulders back during scapular retraction.
Thus they are a SHOULDER muscle as they are a basis for the movement of the SHOULDERS. Not your fricking back muscles.

Your traps will only look good if they insert high. You can't change where they insert on your neck.
Do heavy diddlies and then heavy shrugs right after

Low inserting traps are ugly honestly. I have high inserts like Zyzz because of my long neck and it looks way better.
