          You missed the point. I also drink black coffee, which helps with cutting and bowel movement, but my genes make it so I have none of the downsides at the cost of not having all the benefits (no energy boost).

          There is literally no downside to my consumption of coffee (maybe 0.5L a day) and quite often I stop for several weeks proving I'm not addicted.

          I drink caffeine up to 7 or 8 some nights, not coffee, but still. Have no more problem sleeping at like 10-11 with my Olly gummies and my other meds than I do on other nights.

              I function pretty fine without them tbh
              Without the uppers I generally still use some downers as ADHD and OCD run wild and sleeping can get very difficult. That said I need to ween off the melatonin. That shit was meant to be temporary. Otherwise I function the same without caffeine during the day. I just like the buzz and taste.

            Not really. Caffeine is like any drug, not only does it affect different people to varying degrees, but the more you use it, the more resistance you build up. Someone who never drinks coffee could be affected by 1 cup the same way 20 cups would affect an all-day chugger addict. Some people drink so much coffee they can drink a full cup then fall asleep, because their bodies are so used to the caffeine it hardly has any effect. Much the same way a chain smoker no longer gets a high, he just needs to smoke constantly to maintain a normal baseline. But someone who's never smoked would get a high from a single cig.

            I'm not aware sensitivity to coffee marking severe underlying health issues? If you could find something that does I'd be grateful. I've always been very sensitive to it since childhood as a single teaspoon gives me a huge energy boost. If I take one teaspoon at 2pm I legit won't sleep till 2am even if my established sleeping time is 9pm. I get every positive in droves and every negative also. Including all these

            My ancestry is English & Irish, who are probably the harbingers of caffeine consumption to the modern world. Idk if that helps.

            This is a large reason why I don't like people recommending it. My best mate's Italian and has 3 a day and experiences brain fog that he himself blames on caffeine. He also goes to sleep at 5am. I don't think it's useful in life as anything more than an emergency mode crutch i.e if you have to pull an all-nighter. It also is proven to hit your dopamine receptors hard, which are already burnt out on most people by cooming and gaming. Maybe that hit is less severe on that demographic. If you want to be successful in life one of the worst things you can do is release excess unnatural dopamine, which is the main thing coffee does.
