It's the same reason people claim anhedonia. They're stressed, so they go home and play vidya or watch TV as a route of escapism. When they take ash their stress is much lower, so they don't get that cortisol reduction in escapist activities, making them feel less enjoyable, even though that's how it's supposed to feel.

That tends to be my takeaway from getting into the nootropics world. Every review section on every product ranges from people saying it completely turned their life around to people saying the overdosed on it for three weeks and it had no effect.
All these posters saying this makes them tired makes me wonder if this is why I'm so fricking fatigued all the time now I'm on so much shit its hard to pinpoint I stopped taking everything but magnesium and zinc and have been feeling quite a bit better

For me it improved my sleep for the first week and a half, and that was all.
It's a fairly mild effect at most. I feel a subtle calmness but that's about it
