I stopped training for 6 months as a natural and it only took me one month of training to get back in shape. Being natural is obviously the best choice.
Mate, I didn't lift for close to a decade. Stopped at 20, returned to it at 30. Took me 3 months to get back to a 2pl8+ bench, 225lbs+ total weighted pullups for reps etc. at a lower BW than when I was 20. Only thing I fully regained or surpassed in strength is deadlifts, because I hardly ever do it. You keep your natural gains for life.
