Around 1 lbs, there are certain variables but that's about what you can realistically gain.

Getting big takes years not months that's why most fags give up before they do.

          it's worth it though

true, and then there's the demoralizing chuds that call people dyel for guys with 1-2 years of trying then get discouraged.

But it really isn't. I mean later on even that 1lbs is too much, think about it. 12lbs in a year so let's say you train for 3 years you gained 36lbs of muscle (yeah right). But let's take it even further and you train for 5 years, then that's 60lbs of lean muscle.

That is not naturally possible. For majority of people that wouldn't be possible even with steroids. You need to understand this. Getting big and lifting is a lifetime commitment and you have to find deeper motives than "getting x size in y time", it's fucking arbitrary non-sense. Just live your life and keep training on the side as something that adds to your day-to-day life.

6-12 lbs in your first year if you do everything correctly. 12 for the year so 3-4 lbs max, more realistically 2lbs.

If you think that going all out for three months is gonna get you where you wanna go then do it, but let me tell you that you might have a case of self sabotage disguised as motivation. You're gonna do a workout that is way too hard for your current stage, probably buy unnecessary suplements that you don't need while you're at it and are gonna be disappointed with the eventual results and will quit before the year ends.

Just accept that you will do this for your entire life and that eventually you will look good.

Which does not look like a lot since muscle is denser than fat. Natty muscle gain is slow therefore you won't really look like much before you hit your mid twenties, unless you do everything correctly from the get go and start when you're young. But that also makes it a pledge of prestige for anyone who eventually achieves it.

Neither does the fat, but the message remains the same

To visualize the size of fat or muscle just understand that fat is slightly less dense than water and muscle slightly more.
1 kilo of water is 1 liter in size.
2 kilos of water is 2 liters in size.
Pic related is what 2 liters of size looks like.
So, lose two kilos of fat (4.4lbs) and you'll be losing slightly more than pic related amount of blubber from your body.

If you're a noob with really small muscles and eat well and stick to proper training It'll be enough to make a significant difference from when you started, but keep In mind the bigger you get the less you can gain in a certain amount of time

Assuming a totally on point workout routine, diet, and body (genetics, age, etc), 2-3 pounds a month.
But no plan survives contact with the barbell, so realistically you're looking at a pound a month, maybe a little more.
This isn't as bad as it sounds. You're going to look better after 3 months, even if only a little.

How much if I'm old and used to workout a decade ago? Will I still get noob gains, maybe muscle memory kicks in? I am starting to have trouble bending so it might be over for me already 🙁

It depends on how fit you were previously and how long since you stopped exercising, but it's usually not nothing. When I started I was weak as shit and 85lbs on the bench was an actual achievement, getting back in after a half decade away it was just a number on the way to figuring out where my actual max was.

The trick is to start your ISTness phase in early winter because you have more appetite in the cold months and not so many social events you could potentially attend. Its jucking june m8 you focked up, try next your, you wont look good this summer.

Like 1-2lbs. You'll probably gain some fat with that. Gains take years. This is the reality of natty lifting. Most of us would be okay with this, but fitness people and Hollywood fuck up society's expectations. You can either suck it up or become a chud fraud cheater like me and make unlimited muscle at the expense of every other body system.
