I've done 100 pullups and 250 pushups in like 18 minutes. Doing high rep bodyweight exercises in supersets and aiming within a time limit is a good challenge.

I could do a few as a kid. Then as an untrained adult I couldn't do any.
I can do 20kg extra for 8 reps. 30kg for 5 with close neutral grip. BW of around 80kg. Those aren't even great numbers, just train the exercise like you would any other big compound movement and the gains come easy. Tbh being able to do 10 BW pullups with decent form is a fricking minimum if you attend a gym with any intent of being serious.

Went from 57kg skelly to 110kg at 194cm. My arm strength isn’t good enough for this weight but at least I’m squatting 190kg, DL 210kg(max I can put on the bar) and bench 140kg.

Am 6’4, use to weigh around 295 while playing football and could barely do 2 pull-ups, while having some solid lifting numbers. Dropped a lot of the weight and now at 221. Can gladly do 14 pull-ups and about 20 chin-ups. Gives a sense of pride that I am able to not only lift other weights but also have solid control of my own body weight.

I couldn't even do one so I bought some rubber bands for assist.
I can now do 8-6-5-4 with 90 seconds rest in between, twice a week. However they haven't progressed since the beginning at all. I've been stuck like this for 3 months.
I've only gained 1kg of body weight over that time so it's not that I got fatter either.
You should probably do more od them.
After your 8-6-5-4 rest for a few minutes and then keep going, you'll probably still be able to pump out a few sets of 4, when you get down to 3 supplement with some negatives

Worked up from 3 sets chins to failure followed by 3 sets pull-ups to failure to 6 sets of each in 8 weeks.on week nine I could do a set of 18 of each when before I could only do 10 and 8. This was a small part of a larger lifting plans, but basically, add sets and do supplementary back work,
